  AKTION
- Aktion   (HATE 41) - LP 10,00

We're proud to announce the first LP by this young amazing duo from Rome!
The band consists of Gustav Gabor(guitar, vocals) and Mary-Jane (keyboards, tape echo, drum machine and occasional vocals) Berlenbach, and they use to call themselves brother and sister...
Their beautiful haunting sound features a personal melting of no/new-wave/DIY influences and old-fashioned-chanson with morbid and sexual twist in them... 8 catchy and punchy numbers, combining the (damaged) punk-attitude of Gustav sharp-edged guitar, the essential electro beat and synth grooves by MaryJane, and their perfectly blending vocals.
If you can, imagine the Throbbing Gristle of "United" crossing the early Suicide sound with the moody atmosphere (gone bad) of Gainsbourg/Birkin works... WHAT A KILLER DEBUT!!!
Watch out, this aint no slick new wave, but a warm and loud 4 track tape recording!!!
Numbered edition of just 350 copies. Color sleeve and deluxe insert!

MICIDIALE!!!
Edizione numerata a mano di 350 copie con copertina a colori e inserto "deluxe"!

- LP issued on february 2014 in 350 copies.

Double LP First record for this new italian label, manufactured and distributed by HATE Records in Rome. Itís a collection of 1989 UNRELEASED recordings by one of the best and famous Italian bands ever, on the scene since 1979. Their classic early-´80s Joy Division-inspired "new wave" album Siberia is still one of the most influential Italian early eighties works. Here are all the unreleased sessions recorded at the end of that decade for the miniLP "Gennaio" (self-produced at the time and one of the most collectable in their catalog) and just before the band signed for a major label (Ricordi) and published the fabulous "In perfetta solitudine" album.   RANGER SOUND / I RAGAZZI DAI CAPELLI VERDI
- I singoli anni '60   (HATE 32) - mini LP 13,00

Here it is!!! Finally, after years and in their 40 anniversary, the best 60s punk band from Italy got their first own album!!!
Born in Padova in the mid-sixties, the RANGER SOUND did just one (now very rare!) single including the amazing "Ricordarmi", one of the best garage song from the era in Europe with that killer pre-punk guitar sound! The single was celebrated, especially outside Italy , and reissued in great 80s LP compilations like "Transworld Punk" on Crypt and "60 Beat Italiano" on the U.S. Direct Hit.
Now you can listen to their single reissued on vinyl for the first time from the original master! Nearly the same line-up went into I RAGAZZI DAI CAPELLI VERDI, well recognized at the time in Italy for their crazy mania to appear on stage with their green-colored hair both in TV and in concerts. They did two 45rpm singles in 1966/67, both great examples of 60 BEAT ITALIANO, both reissued here in their beauty from the official master tapes. If you want to listen to one of the best things ever comin' out of Italy and one of the best European garage artefact, you cannot miss this album!
Issued on HATE Records in a limited numbered edition of 500 pieces!!!

- Issued july 2006 in 500 copies (pressed in green vinyl) with two color posters.
-Reissued in 2010 on dark green vinyl (first press was on clear green) with insert but no posters

  CACTUS
- Cactus   (HATE 31) - LP 10,00 / CD 7,00

The Cactus are a 3-piece coming from Rome you should have heard about... They just did a ltd. 3-song 7inch for our MUSIC FOR HATERS series that went out of print in few months and got a great answer from the Italian "major" magazines who's speaking of them, ehm-ehm, like the "next big thing"!
The Cactus have their own sound and style, but their main influences are into new wave and post punk, taking inspirations from bands like Gang Of Four, Fall, Wire, the early Sound, with a "garage" attitude and style. This first album was recorded live-in-studio with cheap equipment and sounds just like their amazing live sets, which are the best around, tight and great! And everybody is waiting for this record... their first one.
The CD-version includes the 3 songs from their first EP. Vinyl is a ltd.edition of 500 copies.

- LP issued july 2006 in 500 copies (black vinyl, first 50 in green vinyl).
- CD issued june 2006 in 300 copies.
Reissued in 2010 on dark green vinyl (first press was on clear green) with insert but no posters

  DAN MELCHIOR'S BROKE REVUE
- The Covert Stomp   (HATE 30) - LP 12,00 / CD 10,00

Our first album from one of the guy/bands we're much in love with! NY's Broke Revue band is really amazing! Dan collaborated in England with Billy Childish and thee Headcoats, toured a lot with Holly Golightly and appear in more then 10 albums! Dan is one of the few people who can do the country-blues thing with the right emotional intensity and passion: just listen to his versions of Skip James, Fred McDowell, Robert Wilkins songs! The Broke Revue records (two LPs are on the InTheRed label) are some of the best stuff around! This Hate LP (with all unreleased stuff from their very early days) includes such a beautiful selections of american folk, country-blues, angry "rockin" blues-influenced songs and a couple of traditional melting instros! A must! The CD version include 2 bonus.

- CD issued march 2005 in 300 copies.

  GAGS
- Criss Cross 1979/1981   (HATE 29) - LP       OUT OF PRINT

Few years back we were responsable for the "Punk At La Scala" LP compilation, that focused for the first time on the Milano's punk scene of the late '70s. People were asking for more, so here's what the best Milano punk band ever deserve: an entire LP for them! Formed in 1978 from the ashes of the (posthumous) acclaimed MITTAGEISEN (their only single is one of the most wanted- and now really really expensive- punk 7" ever!), maybe the first italian punk band. The GAGS were influenced from the UK punk scene and especially from the early Siouxsie and Adam & The Ants, but also from the Damned...! Here you can find all their best songs, plus some stuff that you never heard before (completely unreleased!). A piece of european punk(wave) history! The first edition of the LP comes with a limited ed. fanzine, issued especially for this record. So act first...

- LP issued october 2004 in 500 copies (with special fanzine issue).

  INTELLECTUALS
- Black! Domina! Now!   (HATE 28) - LP OUT OF PRINT / CD 7,00

The best italian duo ever! People keep asking for their first (and only) 7" on our "collectable" Music For Haters series but it went out of print in few days! Considered the best live act from Rome, their "band" is formed by a guitar/vocal boy and a drum/vocal girl but besides the same line up they're having nothing common with the White Stripes... Now here's their first and most awaited album, a wonderful primitive collection of their (all unreleased) songs mixing rock'n'roll (kids say "punk"...) attitude with bluesy chords and punk feeling. 16 songs including 11 originals and 3 covers (from devastating versions of Ramones "Commando" and Angry Samoans "Right Side Of My Mind", to their personal rendition of the Kinks "Gotta Move") with wild and catchy chorus!! One of the best indie LP coming out of Italy ever!

- LP issued october 2004 in 500 copies (black vinyl only).
- CD issued march 2005 in 500 copies.
- There's a ltd. tour edition (25 handnumbered copies only) of "Black Domina" with handwritten
signed paper sleeve, just sold at their october 2005 roman release party.

  CHRONICS
- Late, Lit-Up & Lewd   (HATE 26) - CD 10,00

Their love for the US 70s scene (Nerves, Real Kids, Beat, Plimsouls...) is fully listenable in the Chronics songs, but they're not poor revivalists, they've got their own sound and attitude!!
In this CD you'll find their complete discography plus a lot of unreleased fabulous material! Late, Lit-Up and Lewd includes their first and only album (issued in a vinyl-only edition by Demolition Derby, Belgium), their 2-song 7" (on the very (in)famous Rip Off Records, U.S.A.), their first beautiful and unreleased demo-tape plus more unheard stuff (all studio!).

Did you ever met the Nazis? They're coming from Mars and don't have any relation with the deutsch racist movement!!!! They're actually a wild "disco-punk" combo with a killer sense of humor... coming from the Netherlands and led by miss Vanya. The NFM discography includes an LP full of catchy electro-punk songs, that got huge reviews around the globe... but before that one, they had put out two beautiful and impossible to find EPs on their own Astral Anarchy label. Their all-over-the-world fans claim to get that rare stuff, so your friends at Hate Records thought to put out an LP with all the 8-songs from the NFM early EP's + an entire side full of unreleased (4 never heard studio songs and 5 tracks from a VPRO radio live set) !!! GIZMOS - Never Mind the Gizmos Here's the Gizmos   LP
(VULCHER 0008)

We love the GIZMOS! No word is enough! After our installment reissuing (in worldwide exclusive on vinyl) their historical first 3 singles/EP's (with bonus) on one LP, and issuing an unreleased 70s devastating rocking demos on another LP, here's another winner! For the first time reissued on LP (beside a song on the KBD conpilations) their "punkest" material, originally issued on a beautiful 7" EP called "Never Mind the Sex Pistols: Here's the Gizmos" (1979) and on a split LP (the Dow Jones and the Industrials on the other side) called "Hoosier Hysteria"(1980).
Two reasons to buy it: the first is that you're talking about one of the BEST 70s band, the other one is that any "punk" collection isn't good enough without this stuff from the great late Gizmos!

SCREAMIN' MEE-MEES - Live from the Basement 1975/1996   LP 10,00
(VULCHER 0007)

In the mid-70s, when the major labels were issuing lotsa crap music and lotsa of "dinosaur rock" bands were around to destroy our turntables, in the midwest a couple of guys were doing some interesting "weirdo" stuff...!
These guys recording everything in their loosy basement, were called SCREAMING MEE-MEES, and now they're a part of the american so-called "proto-punk" history...! Re-considered from the "punk" archivist in the late '80s/early '90s, the Mee-Mees issued a wonderful 7" EP in the 1976 on their own little label Dog Face. That record (included here) can be easily considered one of the best examples of what was intended for "punk music" from the enthusiastic generation described on the "From the Velvet to the Voidoids" book.
The Mee-Mees, originally from St.Louis (Missouri), played a personal mixture of 60s garage and 70s punk with psych and Velvet-influenced touches, with a low-fi feel. Simply amazing!
This record reissues on one album their rare and classic "Live from the basement" EP, plus some unreleased 70s stuff and rare songs issued on rare and bad-distributed singles. You cannot miss it!

AFRIKA KORPS - Music To Kill By   LP + 7"   OUT OF PRINT
(VULCHER 0006)

Rex and H. Wuelfing, later in the Nuns.
The english mag New Musical Express quoted this record as "the best punk album of the year"! "Music to Kill By" was a sort of DIY early Ramones-RNR-gizmosesque-garage-trash punk KILLER album!
With 22 (!) GREAT SONGS on it!! One of the best punk albums ever! Now reissued with the same original artwork and new liner notes.
The first pressing of this reissue includes a bonus EP 7" with 3 unreleased studio tracks from '77 and 3 kick-ass songs from a 1977 Boston live-set!!!

GIZMOS - 1976: The Rockabilly Yobs Sessions   LP 10,00
(VULCHER 0003)

This limited edition album wants you to realize how great was the stuff composed in a garage, back in 1976, from a couple of Indiana's guys (Kenne Highland and Eddie Flowers) that later went on to form the legendary Gizmos... pure genius... yeah!! How can you go wrong with hits like "Fanzine Pussy", "Be Bop Barb" "Refrigerator Rappin". The Rockabilly Yobs sessions were primitive, raw & essential, inspired deranged tracks that even pre-dated a full generation of 90s bands who focused their music on swamp-trash-punk doing genuine, raw, trash and no-fidelity wild punk rock'n'roll! Before the Oblivians there was the Rockabilly Yobs!!! This album includes all the recorded material of this pre-Gizmos, Afrika Korps band. And this stuff was never released on vinyl before!!!
So hurry baby... and DANCE TO THE BEAT!!!!
